While I was away, Chef John, my favorite Internet chef, showed us how easy it is to make a Boston Cream Pie.

I might not be able to wait for the weekend for this one.

I bet you thought I starved to death or something…

I’ve been getting my business up and running, busting my butt on a couple projects, and I have also lost about 12 pounds since the last time I posted. What better way to celebrate getting back into the swing of things, but with a 5-minute Chocolate Cake!!! In a coffee mug no less!

Yes, this means I will be back to semi-regular posting. As you know, I am no chef, but I plan to make a lot of food videos in the coming months.

Today, as in the past, there are problems that must be solved and challenges that must be met. We can tackle them with our full strength and creativity only because we are free to work them out in our own way. We owe this freedom of choice and action to those men and women in uniform who have served this nation and its interests in time of need. I haven’t dropped off the face of the Earth, I’m just taking a nice break from full time blogging while I get my full time business up and running. Visit the new site, Aria Interactive.

While I have been working on this project, which is several days behind schedule, with a deadline looming tomorrow, I have been neglecting my cooking time in the kitchen. Thank goodness Chef John is here to help me plan an excellent weekend dinner.

Looking for something different to make tonight? Why not try some spinach enchiladas?

Me? I would leave out the mushrooms. Mushrooms are evil.

Chef John is going green!!!

That’s right! He’s serving up Green Chicken Enchiladas. Well, they’re sort of like enchiladas.

Personally, I don’t care for green sauce. Personal preference I suppose.

Have you seen the series of Rhodes videos on I’m Cooked?

They have a lot of good ideas, but their implementation is scary.

While I’ve been busy working on my project (which is now one full day behind schedule), Marisa has been busy pickling asparagus.

I never would have thought to pickle asparagus. That makes two ideas I need to try thanks to Marisa, but not until my project is finished.
