We missed our weekend taco night, so the kids made me watch this video to remember it next time.

Our kids love biscotti. I figured I would look for a recipe and try it here in a few days.

It’s hard to understand what she is saying at times, but it looks like a good recipe to me.

After craving those spring rolls last night, I couldn’t help but think of crab all day today. So here are a couple videos. Yum.

How funny is this? I was looking for a real good California Spring Roll recipe and remembered seeing one somewhere but I couldn’t remember where. So I went to imcooked.com to see if it was there that I saw this delicious recipe I made one time.

Sure enough it was there. This is my favorite spring roll recipe, and it features my favorite Internet Chef. How could I forget?

Of course, I would use real crabmeat. Go figure.

You’d think being out of work would afford me a lot of time to cook. Not. Tonight I am craving ribs.

I’ll cook something soon. I just don’t have ribs right now.

No, I am not making French Onion soup tonight. In fact, tonight we are having chili. Later today we are making homemade flour tortillas and tomorrow we plan to make perogies.

Who knows, I may even make a recipe video later this week.

One of my favorite dishes is beef tenderloin. Yes, you can blame me for some of that global warming caused by my craving for red meat. Here’s a video I found, that looks delicious.

We were eating watermelon the other night, and I casually asked my wife if people actually made watermelon jelly. She wasn’t sure ,but was determined to find out.

Before I knew it, I was standing in the kitchen slicing watermelon and getting things ready.

I can honestly say, that yes, people do make watermelon jelly, and it is quite delicious.

Why not both, sort of?

My wife made the most delicious Chicken and Dumplings tonight, but the camera battery was charging because I was busy making a time lapse video of the clouds floating by the house again today.

Anyway, because of my flub, you didn;t get a chance to see it. You’ll just have to settle for an oldie but a goodie from Chef John at Food Wishes. I haven’t made this one yet, but since I am posting it here, I will see it all this week and remember to make it on the weekend.

Gidget decided to make some sourdough bread the other day. I think her starter was a bit more alive than we all thought.
