Homemade Mayonnaise

I have been waiting for someone “I know” on the internet to try to make homemade mayonnaise. I have been real skiddish about trying it myself, but now that I see Marisa has made some, I am going to try it.

Of course, everything that woman touch turns to culinary gold, but I will try it. Heck, I may even record it for a future video.

For now, head on over to Food In Jars to see how hers turned out.

  • Hmm, I don’t if EVERYTHING I make turns into culinary gold, I’ve had some serious stinkers over the years. It’s just that I don’t write about the mishaps, to preserve my spotless reputation! ;)

But all that aside, I was really surprised at how easy it was to make mayonnaise. It’s definitely worth doing at least once, to prove to yourself that it isn’t as impossible as people make it out to be.

I think we’ll be doing it on Fork You sometime soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
