While I have been working on this project, which is several days behind schedule, with a deadline looming tomorrow, I have been neglecting my cooking time in the kitchen. Thank goodness Chef John is here to help me plan an excellent weekend dinner.

Looking for something different to make tonight? Why not try some spinach enchiladas?

Me? I would leave out the mushrooms. Mushrooms are evil.

Chef John is going green!!!

That’s right! He’s serving up Green Chicken Enchiladas. Well, they’re sort of like enchiladas.

Personally, I don’t care for green sauce. Personal preference I suppose.

Have you seen the series of Rhodes videos on I’m Cooked?

They have a lot of good ideas, but their implementation is scary.

While I’ve been busy working on my project (which is now one full day behind schedule), Marisa has been busy pickling asparagus.

I never would have thought to pickle asparagus. That makes two ideas I need to try thanks to Marisa, but not until my project is finished.

I’m taking the night off to complete that big project I am working on. I’ll be back tomorrow, unless Swine Flu gets me.

Still working on the new project. Yes, it’s a big one, so food photos just have to wait. Sorry.

Tried some Tortellini Alfredo with broccoli tonight. It was delicious. Sorry, no photos. I am working on a new project related to employment, so I am a bit busy tonight. More tomorrow…

It was our son’s birthday today.

I won’t have a post tonight. Our power keeps browning out or completely going out, so I am not even going to attempt a photo upload or to fill your screen with anything witty and delicious.
