The Easy Way Out

Around here, we’re gearing up for spring. The wife is working on the garden plans and I am preparing for many long nights canning all the good stuff that comes out of it.

Tonight, however, we took a break and ordered Chinese food, simply because the day got away from us and neither one of us felt like cooking (plus my mom wanted to come over to visit and order Chinese too). So we did.

We ordered all of our normal stuff again, which includes sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef, and Kung Pao Shrimp, but my ordered Black Pepper Chicken, and let me tell you what, I am going to imitate that recipe if it kills me. It was soooo delicious. I can hardly wait for lunch tomorrow, when I eat the left over chicken for lunch.
